Buy shares in any Goldmine, that's there business. If Gold was going to stay above $800 for any length of time then Gold miners share prices would be way higher.
I ask again. How can I get gold at 800 dollars per ounce.

Nowhere. It's impossible for Joe public to get gold at that price.

As a shareholder you partially own the business, the gold below ground & what is mined belongs to the company owners, so yes Joe public can buy gold at $800.

Can I have physical gold in my hands for $800 per ounce?

If I buy 800 dollars of Apple shares does that mean I own an iPhone?

Today not, however within 5 years gold will be in your hand for $800. The question is, is it worth digging up the gold or leaving it where it is, the stock holders own it in both cases.

If it does not belong to the stockholders , who do you think it belongs to ?

The truth is that in recent times gold mining costs have skyrocketed. Most of the shallow deposits have been worked out. The large gold production surge as heap leeching (with arsenic) was discovered is also becoming less acceptable in many countries unless done properly; massive increases in environmental laws and restrictions are making gold miners be more aware of pollution; insurance for miners working in high-risk areas have soared even in third-world countries; the risk for companies starting new mines involving investing for 10 years to sink a shaft, put in the infrastructure needed puts them at risk of being milked by foreign countries by new taxes, corruption, nationalization etc.; energy costs are soaring... to name a few.
In any case a large part of gold price increases is really the paper being devalued.

You think gold will be 800 dollars in 5 years?

If I buy a bar of gold and keep it in my house...then the stock holders have nothing to do with it

However it will cost you more for delivery today, I doubt you had any interest in gold 12 years ago, at the time everybody wanted to buy internet stocks.
Going with the flow may feel good at the time, but it's the way to loose money time & time again.

The currencies are in very turbulent times. Money is slopping back and forth between the US and the EU. In periods when the markets also get whacked this drags the PMs down. That is to be expected.
Gold today, even after being taken down, is at a level that was an all-time high just a few months ago.

One thing is for sure... the Chinese and Arabs will be stacking a few new layers of gold bars after this recent price drop.

For much of the last 30 years Gold sold for less than the 'out of ground' cost.

Many gold mines where gold could not be extracted economically were moth balled.

With huge falls in the price of gold where are the 'bulls' that have been talking up the price for so long?

The key question is "is gold price still falling or hit bottom & recovering?"

Isn't this simply an overdue correction? My guess is that there are a lot of limit buy orders in there at 1550 to 1600

Or more likely a bull trap.
