Just wondering if anyone had any advice on student accounts in Switzerland. I'm 25 and will be studing for an MA at UZH for two years. My husband is working at ETH so he will need an ordinary private account I imagine. Is it possible to get an account that doesn't require yearly payment? I have heard that the Co-op bank and also Post Finance are good options, but I wondered if there were any good deals for students that I might look at?

There are good deals for students!

For example UBS and Credit Suisse have special offerings to students (18-30 ages)
the basic services - personal account, saving account, Maestro Card, e-banking, payment services are free of charge and interest rates are higher than for the other ones. UBS Maestro card includes also EURO<26 membership.
