I am looking for a good shop to buy spices in Zurich. Moroccan saffron, Hungarian paprika, Indian curry and so on... I usually prefer small shops but any tips would be great!

We had the same issues when arrived to Zurich.
Most of the mentioed spices you can find in Coop and Migros. nevertheless, there are many oriental shops in the Wiedikon area (No exact address but if you walk around you can find many of them easyly).

We normally go to Aggarwal, corner of Anwandstrasse / Kernstrasse, Zurich.
They have a fairly good variety of spices. I was told there's another shop on the Badenerstrasse Zurich but I have not been there yet.

Great. Thank you for the tips. I tried obviously Coop and Migros but the quality is very bad. I prepared a gulash and to get to some paprika flavour I had to put so much that the sauce was powdry!

Barkat Cash & Carry, next to the Singapore Restaurant.

You pay a price, but the best variety and quality of spices I have found is at Globus. They have a whole section alone dedicated to a variety of Curries. It's my go to place for spices that you can't find anywhere else in Switzerland.
