Re: Bacon and Marmite sandwich

I have loads of Marmite, but nowhere to buy proper bacon. I suppose I could fry up some bacon bits and it would be the same taste. Sounds yummy.

The boffins have invented a word for tangy yumminess - "Umami"

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Umami

My favourite is marmite on toast with shavings of parmesan shavings. It's a Umami orgasm.

Marmite I'm sure you can get from 'Britshop' online.
Likewise, you can get bacon online from www.naturally-orkney.com.

Hope that helps.

My jar will arrive in 15 days, along with some crumpets! Way more exciting than waiting for KFC!

Depends on what you like.

I have a bag of jet plane lollies - perfect for soaking in vodka! A big bag of Black Knight licorice, mm mmmmm. Or do you prefer Tim Tams???

I also have excess supplies of golden syrup and brown sugar

Brown sugar? Real brown sugar? Can I send you some money? Or, can we just all get together and eat? I can make some anzac biscuits.

Would it be ridiculously expensive for me to fly to London just to get a chocolate fish?
