Someone is laughing, that's always good but I did what exactly?

Celery has some... ahem benefits for men. Don't you know it yet?
It is a common joke back home, but nobody gets it here. As for the real effectiveness of celery (but not the green one, oder?) I couldn't tell.

Re: Tonight's dinner?

Beef with black bean, spring onions and beansprouts with egg fried rice.

Nom nom nom.

The past few nights we have been enjoying the joys of Garlic Kiev's, crumpets, haggis, pukka pies and walkers crisps....though not all at once of course

Re: Tonight's dinner?

Just eaten a lovely roast chicken meal with roast potatoes, stuffing, various veg and a bread sauce - just wanted some comfort food and it was yummy - you just can't beat a roast!!!

Re: Tonight's dinner?

Grilled lamb chops marinated in garlic, olive oil, lemon & wild Greek oregano. Served with harissa, coriander, pomegranate and pine nut couscous.

Easy and quick to prepare!

Re: Tonight's dinner?

It will be something new, but I'm looking forward to see how the tastes mix: risotto with pumpkin puree, pecorino cheese, parsley and most importantly, black tartufatta paste. Should be good!

Re: Tonight's dinner?

Leek/potato soup.

(we needed a come-down after last night's fois-gras, home smoked salmon and tuna (and the remaining scallop), and anchovies in green sauce)

Re: Tonight's dinner?

Last night, tuna two ways:

Raw, with chopped onion, marinated in a mix of soy, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and rocoto jam.

Seared, with dry-jerk seasoning, served on a bed of rocket.

Rice and Brussels sprouts on the side.

Tonight:

Hamburger, cooked at the table on the raclette grill, served with bacon (also cooked on the grill), onion (raw or cooked on the grill), rocket, avocado, tomatoes, olives, jalapenos, and, of course, raclette cheese to stink it up!

I found the most amazing tomatoes. It's not even dinner time and I've eaten half already on my way from werk
Hahaha, I'm munching on cherry tomatoes right now!
Good tomatoes are heavenly. Probably due to their umami taste (which was a revelation for me, I'd learned there are only four basic tastes in school).

Re: Tonight's dinner?

Fondue chinoise, with beef, hose, pork, chicken, and chipolatas.

Made two of the sauces (garlic and pink) at lunch, will make the habanero sauce after work.

Also, made the stock from a whole chicken last night, but kept the breasts for tonight and used the rest of the meat for last night's stuffed zucchini.
