Delicious - although, I don't get the hype around the Apple Sauce - Bleurgh! (This is probably worth a thread on it's own!)

Not actually doing it tonight, but I'm extremly keen on making a Carbonara Pasta Bake with Macceroni's again, it's been too long!
I don't get it either! Each to their own...I suppose

Your bake sounds fantastic, especially in this weather.

Dosa with Mysore masala and Coconut Coriander chutney. Light, healthy and very yummy !
And you made the dosa batter from scratch? I could live on a dosa diet.

Hi Maria,

Me too - I could overindulge on Dosa's . Yes, I make it from scratch as Dosa's are one of my fav's and for me ready mix batters really don't give the same texture and taste.

Re: Tonight's dinner?

Liver, onions, rice, and salad.

And some melon and crudo as appetizer.

I also made up a batch of 'sarde in saor' for later in the week over lunch break.

You need fresh sardines for that, right? Is it possible you can find them here and I didn't see any? (not that it would really surprise me, but anyway)

Re: Tonight's dinner?

I usually buy them in Italy, but have seen them at Manor on occasion.

Fresh anchovies work as well, but are smaller.

Recipe I use is here.

1 kg of anchovies or sardines give about 600g cleaned filets (remove head, guts, spine, watch the video, also available in English).

They had fresh sardines ( and anchovies for that matter) in our Migros lat week.
I don't know if it was a one off or if they are a regular because I never look for them.
