Does "I'll skip my dinner tonight because I'm on diet" count as a tonight's dinner too?

No. But fasting is extremely efficient and easy in summer. Normally, heat decreases one's appetite. I don't know why I am getting myself all greasy in the kitchen..

Re: Tonight's dinner?

I'm feeling lazy, so I ordered in some kind of "insel" thingies that are kind of a cross between a pizza and a calzone -- dipped in tzatziki.

I am developing a love-hate relationship with that website, http://www.eat.ch/

My diet starts tomorrow, I swear!

I try to drink lots of beers to counter react dehydration caused by summer heat.

Is that a sigh that this tread's slowed down on quality of food served in expats households?

I've seen these 'insel' thingies on delivery menus and was wondering what they were! A cross between a calzone & pizza, hmmm....

I've gotta give them a try.

oh & I love tzatziki

Pepper steak with pasta. Steak, peppers, onion, tomatoes and pasta all in a lovely mess to make sure the pasta gets coated with all the lovely flavours.

Re: Tonight's dinner?

You have a grandiose kitchen? I'm envious. I've yet to see a grandiose kitchen at all over here. The two I've had are both postage stamp size.
