Lasagne alla bolognese.

Meanwhile, cold-smoking a 600g chunk of swordfish for later.

Re: Tonight's dinner?

homemade ceviche tico-style (the best!) guacamole and my husband made the only dessert he knows how to- orange slices with a touch of cinnamon.

glass (or more...) of red wine and feet up ready for a well deserved week of vacation.

Re: Tonight's dinner?

The cold smoked swordfish I smoked the other day as carpacciao, and anchovies in green sauce as appetizer.

Spaghetti alle vongele as first course.

Salmon with asparagus as second.

Home-made baba al rhum for desert (lucky me, they rose this time )

Meanwhile, I beat my wife at Scrabble again (in Italian), but it was much closer this time.

This…

Roasted sweet potato with pecan and maple

…in terms of flavor, it was downright impressive — and rich with healthy ingredients, besides(!).

Re: Tonight's dinner?

Moo-shu chicken (i think it's really American Chineese ) with Mandarin pancakes.

Moo-shu was pretty good, pancakes - it was the first time, need practice, maybe different flour.

Tom
Surely you don't expect us to swallow that tripe?

Seriously, how did you prepare the tripe?
