Lidl or Aldi probably, maybe Denner. Can't remember where we got our last lot from.

Lidl had it on sale last week. We enjoyed a nice braai with BIL.
Got it at Aldi a couple of weeks ago.

Re: Tonight's dinner?

Ossobuco alla Milanese, or is it Ossobuchi??

A lovely dish that I thoroughly enjoy cooking, and eating of course.

Classic dish, and not too difficult to prepare. You're tempting me!

What do you prefer for accompaniments? Risotto alla milanese? Polenta? Mashed potatoes? Bread?

I wonder how much osso bucco goes for at the shops.

I served it with crusty bread and a simple salad and it was fantastic!

While I do enjoy a well prepared risotto (porcini is my favourite), I find it too heavy with Ossobuco. I prefer to eat risottos on their own. Each to their own I suppose.

At Migros it's around 32chf/kilo.

Larb Moo, a spicy and tangy Thai minced pork salad with lots of fresh coriander, mint, lime juice, fish sauce, lots of chillies, spring onions and ground roasted sticky rice. Awesome dish.

Tsipoura - oven baked gilt-head bream with olive oil, lemon and wild oregano.

I wanted to grill it over charcoal but the weather is a bit iffy today.
