We just had a cooked turkey meat and chickpea curry for dinner. Quick, easy and tasty too.

My wife loves Berner Platte, I think it's in her genes.

Meanwhile, Wiener schnitzel (veal) with salad, with the other half more thinly sliced for veal parmigiana later in the week (but fried tonight).

Re: Tonight's dinner?

Salmon in puff pastry; salmon steak covered in spiced spinach.

Can never get the bottom of it to cook properly; too wet

Set your oven to bottom-heat only.

Okay, okay — it was technically "last night's" dinner (but there are leftovers!) — I just happened to be awake at 02:30 when I decided to post. Alles klar?

I will check with my wife. I gave her clear instructions; a slice of Swiss cheese melted in the middle of each fried eggs. Maybe she chopped the margarine plastic box instead. Let me ask again ...
