buying scones in zurich area

hello

i'm swiss, but i love english/irish food like pies and scones.

i know the pie shop at schaffhauserplatz and markthalle for really good pies (guinness beef pie is excellent). they also sell scones - but i find them only little above average.

does anyone know a bakery in zurich area which sells really really good, authentic scones?

thx for any help!

They are very easy to make, but also try the Queen of Hearts at the Markthalle Wednesdays and Fridays, her cup cakes are great, not tried her scones though

Schwarzenbach in Niederdorf serves them in their cafe, with clotted cream and jam

Fresh homemade scones are absolutely delicious (especially warm out of the oven topped with double gruyere cream and jam) and really easy to make.

Too true--absolutely fool-proof to make, and nothing beats them fresh out of the oven...
