KFC - No More Finger Lickin' Good?

Just picked this up on the news and feel devastated. Healthy Kentucky Fried Chicken???? Who the heck needs that.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...er-slogan.html

I think I need some (no homo) hugs.

What a load of old bollix. Advertising dudes do talk rubbish sometimes.

I wonder how much it cost to change the slogan. (It may say in the article, but reading the Daily Mail makes babies cry and Lady Di's Angel weep.)

I would have thought that an advertisement about a restaurant being food-centric would have been a good thing. I guess this is why I don't work in advertising.

On a related note, did anyone else catch this piece in the Guardian last week? http://www.guardian.co.uk/lifeandsty...d-chicken-boom

I couldn't read it without feeling a little homesick.
