Pancake Day might actually be my favourite day of the year! I have been known to host a pancake party which included for starter: pancakes stuffed with ham and cheese; main course: a chicken and artichoke pancake bake; and dessert: pancakes with chocolate sauce and ice cream, or the traditional lemon and sugar....YUM.
No party this year unfotunately. Just me and OH stuffing ourselves with pancakes on our own |

It's 1chf, large, good quality and tastier than nutella when put in a pancake and into a gentle oven for a few minutes.

| | What's your topping for pancake day??
I'm a traditionalist - for Shrove Tuesday, it simply has to be freshly-caught Shrews Attachment 24429

Funny, I thought it had the NW London feel - I used to live not far from there but don't actually know that pub (or creperie).

I am an "Edgware branch of the Northern Line kind of guy".

I used to live in Hampstead Garden Suburb and used to frequent the Wells, the Holly Bush and, occasionally, The Flask!
Sorry, back onto pancakes. Just off out to buy some lemons | This user would like to thank NSchulzi for this useful post: | |

| | | | |
Embarrassingly I've been thinking about this for a while and I've come up with lemonade!

Mix sugar with lemon juice and pour it over the cake.
