Where can I buy flour for pasta in Zurich

I'd like to try making home-made pasta and am looking for the right flour. One recipe says to use "Tipo 00", which of course seems to be difficult to find. Have tried Migros, Coop, Globus and Google. Any other ideas?

PS. Any thoughts on having an EF Food & Drink forum?

Hiya Crumbs, I've bought special flour for pasta in migros, it's one specially for "spetzli" it made excellent noodles.

You can buy semolina flour at Schwarzenbach...It is the best for making pasta!

Thank you both. Looks like I'll have to venture further into the city.

There is a table here which lists the different types of flours (sorry it's only in italian)

http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Farina

The taxonomy is based on the minerals and proteins and the two main types are from soft and hard wheat. Perhaps you can check the composition and compare.
