Hi Y'all

Moving to Zurich this weekand wanted to know whether any of the supermarkets sell hot salt beef or if there are any Kosher cafe's that have it?

Love the stuff, hot beef slices covered in mustard and pickle and wrapped in a bagel or white rye bread.

Simple but effective!

Granted it probably costs a bomb but would like to have an idea none the less.

Use the search function and you may find suggestions for salt beef (I think there was one thread about how to make your own), bagels you can get from Peace Foods in Baar and from My Bagel in Zurich

Brown sugar is an acquired taste I guess...

It's just that when I visited the Wiedikon are in lower west Zurich City, I was told there was a large Jewish orthodox community in the area.

This lead me to think about those tasty beef sarnies.

Somebody must have an idea?
