Pickling cucumbers

I have a mind to try a recipe for some Bread and Butter Pickles, but can not recall ever seeing "pickling cucumbers" here. Does anyone know where I'd be most likely to find them? (My usual haunts include browsing the farmer's stands at Marktplatz in Basel, Migros, Coop and Aldi)

Also, the recipe calls for celery seed, which I've not found in my usual places either - the bit I have left I'd brought with me from my last trip to the US. I HAVE looked at Manor and didn't find them there, maybe someone else knows where I can find some? (I have a coleslaw recipe that calls for them as well.)

Re: Pickling cucumbers

I have definitely seen these cucumbers in the larger Coops... not sure how often they have them though.

Re: Pickling cucumbers

You might find the celery seeds at an Asian grocer
