If you want sushi quality fish to make at home, I'd probably only trust Globus....but you'll pay for it

I like Kabuki in the Markthalle, although it clearly is on the expensive side.
Was too slow, the Sushi Bar in Kramgasse 75 is also not too bad (operated by the same people, they also have a "newstyle" restaurant in Kehrssatz)
There is also Japigo in the Kaiserhaus (Marktgasse 37)

Sushi Kurier Bern! http://sushikurierbern.ch/
I know it's sounds strange to have it delivered at first but it's actually quite excellent. If you decide to eat inside, there are plenty of seating areas and the all you can eat dinner is well worth it. The menu is pretty simple and as far as sushi goes, they sell the "best of" list. The curries are also amazing and I seem to keep going back now and then for the S+S chicken and Beef Peppery and Spicy... The sushi Vegi mix and Nigiri rolls are also good together...man! I'm hungry now |

We've been to Tanaka in Kehrsatz and liked it as well.
We've taken one of the Sushi Fusion courses and really enjoyed it, but driving to Zurich for it was a bit of a hassle. We're going to try one of the courses at Tanaka this autumn.
Sushi Kurier looks great, unfortunately, they don't deliver outside of Bern - Koniz, Muri are the outerlying areas for their delivery on the south-east side.

Nooch is our favorite. Expensive, like most things in Switzerland, but a nice treat once a month for us.
