Brunch with real English sausages !

So today we had Brunch again at Pot Bellys and they were serving English sausages !! OMG .....Heaven ......

I must own up to 2 massive helpings of sausage, fried eggs, chips and beans......apparently they will also take orders for English Bacon and Sausages(frozen)

Vallers from the forum joined us and had brought along 6 different chocolate truffle samples for us to taste test for her ......so an almost English fry up followed by large quantities of choc truffle and washed down by iced Magners...what a splendid Sunday .....

You forgot the Yorkshires that Gina brought out for us to try and they were fab - ...all a good sign for the Sunday Roast!!

Got to agree with Joolie - even made a toasted sausage sandwich and it was deeeelish.

Double thumbs up for the brunch!

You mean this Sunday Roast? As a note, I have it on relatively good authority that those very same sausages could make an appearance at the Roast as well...

Re: Brunch with real English sausages !

Really English sausages? Not the ones that are English in style but actually made here? (Where's the drool icon when you need it?)

I think the sausages are imported. And I tasted the Yorkies on Friday and made several other "native UK people" taste them as well and all were very happy with this "test" batch. So things are looking good for the roast.

As a note, this Sunday brunch happens around every two weeks at Pot Belly's. I think during the summer it may only be once a month. But regardless, it is a normal event for them. Website is here.

Re: Brunch with real English sausages !

It sounds absolutely wonderful. Sausages are the one thing we really miss living here. As soon as my OH gets back from the States, we will be heading up to the next brunch.

Thanks for posting, Joolie! You made my day!
