Creamed corn

So I am trying to make this cob loaf dip. I love eating the crunchy crust the day after, however I cant seem to find and creamed corn!!! When I asked the lady at coop she just looked at me with a blank face.

Any clues on where I can find it.. or if there is a name in french for it?

Re: Creamed corn

Kudos to you for admitting you actually eat that stuff.

I've never seen it sold anywhere here, but you can buy it on the afoodave.ch site:

I've ordered stuff from them before, and they ship incredibly fast. You'd probably receive it in only 2 days.

Good luck on your mission!

Re: Creamed corn

I ran into this problem last year while trying to make a cornbread recipe. After unsuccessfully scouring the supermarkets for creamed corn, I made my own and it was 100x better than store-bought. It's more labor intensive, but the finished product tastes so good.

Here's the recipe if you're interested: http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Cream-C...er/Detail.aspx
