British products in Oerlikon

For those of you hunting for brown sugar, self-raising flour or other British staples there is a stall in Centre 11 in Oerlikon that appeared today.

Not sure how long it will be there for but it is hard to miss alongside a cardboard cut out of the Houses of Parliament and the national anthem playing over the tannoy.

Re: British products in Oerlikon

Great stuff!

I've just visited. There is a large amount of British food. The prices were high but you expect that. Anyway, can you really put a price on a pack of Walker's crisps or a Wagonwheel? I think not.

The photos are of dubious quality but you get a sense for what is available.

Re: British products in Oerlikon

I checked with them this evening, they are there this week and next. Linked to the British embassy and promotion of Britain off the back of the Olympics and Paralympics apparently.

No worries. Better to get it twice than not at all methinks!

Can't wait to get there and check it out. Man, am I missing the smack of Walker's Crisps like BIG time.

Cheers.

It doesn't seem that they would have any marmite...
