Of course, for the absolute in Swissness, what you really need is a giant Toblerone chocolate fondue.

Mmmmmmmm.

I voted for rösti, as my favorite (saucisson vaudois) is not on the ballot.

Re: An almost impossible question

Saucisson Valis is not as good as saucisson au Marc (spelt??). Both go well with rosti I think so you voted correctly per your sausage persuasion.

Re: An almost impossible question

My favorite: none of the above, but rather - Wildzeit!

Venison (for OH) and pheasant (for me, because I don't eat Bambi) with Brombeeren sauce. (The berries out of my garden, the most Swiss thing of all. )

Sadly, I can no longer eat chocolate or cheese. Which, I believe means an automatic revocation of my permit...

Here too. Simply love venison and I imagine bambi had at least a good life before he ended up on my plate.
Cheese Fondue makes me only to smell it and raclette is bearable, but nothing else. The only fantastic cheese fondue I have ever had was Grumpy's Scottish fondue made with cheese from Tobermory and beer and whisky. If the authorities get to know about that I will be on the next plane...

I'm still waiting for a serious answer as to what school girl is. Assuming it's not what was holding the toblerone, and it isn't our dear Megan.
