Green pistachios or in the shell?

Hi all,

I need to make the Apero for a get together tonight and I want to make this recipe:

The problem is I always get confused when it comes to pistachios. In the Coop it seems I have 2 choices, the ones in the shell or the green ones and I just don't know which I need. The green ones put me off a bit because they're, well, green. Are they raw? Is it OK to cook with them.
Sorry for the stupidity of my question I'm just not sure what to use.

The clue is in the recipe:

"15g shelled, unsalted pistachio nuts"

Pistachios are green. Think of the colour of pistachio ice cream.

Yes you need the green ones. I tried to find some last night in Co-op but they didn't appear to have any.
