Although the shops close early and on sundays, there are petrol stations with little shops attached. In fact, I've just been to the COOP one and got some beer |

I have been using the "LeShop" online grocery delivery that gooner provided the link for, and it has been great. I love being able to pick out my groceries from the comfort of my own home, and have them just show up the next afternoon. It has especially come in handy now that I have recently broken my ankle!
In case you are interested there was more discussion about it here. Enjoy!

I just used le shop from the migros and it was great. I ordered at eight in the evening and got it the next day at five in the afternoon.
I even offered to help carry a sixer pack orange but the post guy said he would carry it all to the front door.
Another nice surprise was the british section , I got a great chedder cheese, marmite and some swiss made british bacon(delish...), maybe its avalable in the normal migros but I never came across it before.
So great service normal prices and just a 15 frank post charge which is really not bad if you have no time and have to waste a hour shopping.

Bofrost also deliver, and they even put it in the freezer for you. You can get chopped up frozen onions, and chocolate eclairs |

Used leshop.ch for the first time in a few years and was very happy:
User friendly site (Item categories are in English, though item names are in French or german).
Delivery was as promised (Mon-Fri 17:00 - 20:00, Sat 07:00 - 11:00).
Even got a free sample thrown in...
You can even order BBQ coals !
If anyone wants a 10 CHF discount code - PM me.

I tried Leshop the other day (live in Baar) but was frustrated to see that I needed to order a certain amount of frozen, certain amount from another brand ect so I gave up. Anyone else had this?

Some basic differences between Le Shop and Coop.. from my experience
Le Shop (migros) is delivered by Post Courier, I think... at any rate, you don't have to be home, and they will leave it outside your door. If you want to order something that is frozen, it has to come via Eismann, and you have to spend at least chf 35, and it comes in three days... at least when I've done it. To receive the frozen stuff, you have to be there. The regular delivery usually happens Monday to Friday btween 5 and 8 Pm, or Saturday AM.
If you order from Coop, you or someone must be home to accept the delivery. You can pick your delivery time (within about an hour or so), and they will include frozen items. Where I live they seem to come either at 3pm or 8pm.
Also, I don't think Coop delivers everywhere in Switzerland, but Le Shop does... Maybe I'm wrong about this...

Check any Coop deliveries carefully, as I've found on the last few deliveries, one or two items was missing - once half of my delivery wasn't there! Just have your receipt from them with you when you get the delivery and check it over while making the delivery guy wait. They won't love you, but things do get misplaced.

If you order from Coop, you or someone must be home to accept the delivery. | | | | | They have recently changed this (I think about 2 months ago) an they also now leave it outside your door if you wish.
Other than that, I also had the unpleasant surprise with Coop that some stuff was missing without warning and they just took it off the list... great if you need the stuff for a recipe or dinner party ended up having to go shop for that anyway...
Plus, another time with Coop the guy asked me for some money (5chf) for price for somehting which was higher than ordered (because of weight) and I also then found this on my credit card...
Other than that though, all always went well
Cheers

I really prefer Coop over le shop. You can choose a precise time when you want your groceries to be delivered. You don't need to pay 5.- for cold products and give anything back to the postman next time they come.
With coop, you simply sign, get your delivery and that's it. Also, if you want to be delivery on Saturday you can choose a time. With Le shop, I wouldn't want someone to knock on the door at 7am!
Finally, I find Coop to have generally better quality products (over migros).

Coop
If you dont want to use your CC you can pay them in cash at the time of delivery. They also offer the option to bill you.
LeShop
Also offers the option to bill you, otherwise its CC.
Both Coop and LeShop have very good FAQ:s on their respective websites.

I do it once a month and love it! They also have great promotions if you sign up to the mailing list where you can get 1000 point bonuses etc.
I have a question I just got my first lot of Migros cumulus bons and rabatts in the mail. Can I use these with Leshop.ch I am a little confused.
If anyone else wants to the 10 CHF credit PM and I can give you my account details.
