Kegerator

Does anyone have any experience building a home made keg system? I assume, from what I have read online, that it is simply the matter of trashing out a fridge that can cool a keg, or those thin tubes they have here, running a wire to a tap, and that's it.

Any other suggestions if any of you have done it?

Re: Kegerator

Reviving this old topic to check if someone has done it. I just ordered my freezer and will start the project this weekend, but wanted to check if someone else has achieved it already?

The kegerator is the step after making and kegging - distributing the beer. Its basically a modified freezer in which you store your kegs and CO2 tank @ serving temp with beer faucets

I have not built one, but I sure am keen to lend a hand with quality control once you have finished it!
