Please vote for Red Velvet Wedding Cake!

Hello everybody,

Could you please take a second to click on the link and then click on the red and white heart to place your vote? (Don't worry, you won't need to sign up to anything to vote.)

Background story with the cake:
My husband and I were married this past August in Switzerland. Red Velvet is my favourite flavour and since leaving Canada, I haven't found this cake in Switzerland. One of our lovely wedding guests surprised us with this wonderful homemade red velvet wedding cake. 13 days to go so please take a second of your time and vote.

Thank you!

Indeed. I've had many a red velvet cake, but not this one. Happy to vote for it once you've made a cake for me to try, though.

Re: Please vote for Red Velvet Wedding Cake!

Excessive amounts of red food coloring, cream cheese, and buttermilk. It has been the trend cupcake for the past few years in the USA. Tastes good, and leads to stinky pee. Red other stuff.

One of the least healthy things you can eat at the moment. But, who cares about healthy, ever?

I really don't see why people would want to needlessly vote for anything. Except a vote of self confidence of course.

The submitter of the first 6 will win a not so cheap Tassimo Joy coffee machine and another 4 can win a baking course participation. It's not just about confidence.

Is it not so cheap like a Jura?

You call 97 CHF expensive? Sounds in line with any sub par capsule "coffee" maker.

It's particularly inexpensive when you get it for free.

Not really. The only reason they sell those things to you, or make them "cheap", is because they want to sell you over priced capsules. Which are really more expensive then instant, or boiled filtered, and in the long run over a Jura. Or that Delonghi garbage.

Well depends. I am a complete zombie in the mornings with serious coordination problems: the invention of press-of-a-button-coffee-machines has saved me lots of burn marks and the cost of the zillion glass coffee pots I always kept smashing. For me it's worth the capsule price. No more morning coffee making accidents without a. coffee b. pot c. water!

Well if you are registered as a Zombie, then ok. Otherwise I have never had an issue with the task of boiling water and putting it in a mug. Except for the occasional drippage.
