Appenzeller and dreams...what the *&!#???

Here is an under discussed topic: Has anyone had odd dreams after drinking a few ounces of Appenzeller?

Last nigh my wife and I both had about 60ml of Appenzeller just before bed. Then, we had both woken up about five hours later from dreams that were best described as "displaced or real but impossible". I think this has happened before but not until today did I correlate the potential that the Appenzeller might be source of these weird dreams. Ever read the bottle " Brandy, wine, sugars...and the extracts of 42 herbs and spices".

Whose to say that one or a combo of a few of these herbs are slightly psychoactive? Anyway...if anyone has had a similar experience with this, we'd love to hear about it.

And for the record...Cheers!!!

It must be the spices... I had similar experiences after only 500ml of Jaegermeister before.

Oh for sure...1999 that's how I brought in the new year. NEVER AGAIN!!!
That memory is how I put two and two together this morning.

I guess we must keep drinking more to know if there is a real connection or not. Oh drat...a "real" excuse to drink: its for science.

Well, got drunk on Underberg before - even worse.

Back in the days where I worked as barkeeper could you not drink beer during work - so we switched to Averna. Pretty much the same experience, slightly less severe.

My tip - Fernet Menta. You might have a hangover, but definitely fresh breath...
