food for spanish cuisine and adaptation

Hi everyone,

Today I have a culinary question. I come from spain, and over there it's quite easier to find some ingredients (or at least way cheaper). Things like vegetables or fruits are not so ridiculously priced as here, and lots of the food is based on this
I wanted to know if there are any spanish people here who can tell me how you adapt your habits of eating by living in switzerland?

I guess the first step to adapt is to forget about the prices in Spain. Agreed, the prices are much lower there but then the wages are too. Besides that in every town in Switzerland there shops where you can buy Spanish or Portugese food as this one in Luzern: http://babelquartier.ch/

Visit small independent Turkish and Balkan food shops, these have sensible prices. Much Mediterranean food is similar, you might also find those "Spanish" ingredients.

It really depends on what you are after.

I come from the northwest of Spain and have no trouble adapting to the normal shops here.

What are you looking for?
