| | Cake and wine place in Zug
I'm meeting a friend later this evening for wine and cake 9 pm.
I am getting a pass out from my two small kids- not long in Switzerland.
Any suggestions for a venue in the centre of Zug.

Try this: http://www.imhof-zug.ch/
Spago tends to be full of students / young people.
GC is a bit more lively for a quiet drink and cake at that time of night.
Behind GC on poststrasse there is a small wine place, don't know the name, you might wanna check it out before on your way to Imhof.
PS: not sure if any of them serve cake, specially not at that time of night.

And given that the OPs nationality is Irish, god knows what she's doing drinking wine... Maybe she would like to opt for a pint of Guinness at Mr Pickwick's | This user would like to thank The_Love_Doctor for this useful post: | |

Jeez, that is actually taking the pissing. I'd assumed it was still under 10 - and inline with the likes of Kennedys in Zurich (although I couldn't tell you how much a pint is in there now).
Saying that a decent wine will be 7chf per 1dl
