Juice Cleanse Experience

I did a juice cleanse before Christmas and just completed another. I'm not sure if it "detoxifies" as I have my liver for that! But I certainly am getting my fruits and veggies requirements met haha! I have wheat and dust allergies and I am truly hoping this one day a month juicing will be beneficial to reduce these allergies. How many of you do a juice cleanse and have experienced your allergies getting better?

Also I found an article with a juicing company I use that delivers around Switzerland.

How does drinking only juice for one day a month affect allergies? I don't understand.

What allergies do you have? Btw I use as much coconut in my juices as possible.

From the site...

A great kickstart to the day is the shot of Apple Lemon Ginger & Cayenne Pepper. Down the hatch it goes and you’re ready to take on the world!
The last time I had that combination was in Crete, but it also had pink peppercorns and a double shot of Absolut.

I get juice as a drink, even in interesting combinations... but how is it a lifestyle? Surely it wreaks havoc on the...er... lower intestines?

We could probably all do with consuming more fruit and vegetables but there are better ways than turning it into juice.

(A slice of lemon in a gin and tonic, for example).

I get severe hives...can't eat those breads with bratwurst..within less than an hour I break out. So it's quite hard here to watch what I eat as everything has bread by the side. Have to take anti-histamines most times before going out

Oftentimes, there are fatty build ups in the liver and around the digestive system that don't metabolise with a constant diet of eating too many calories. Significant calorie cuts can clear out that fat, allowing the organs to function more optimally.

Its quite possible to drink too much juice in a juice fat, and have minimal effect. Juices typically have a high amount of sugar.

Generally, I do it about once or twice a year. I find that it boosts my immune system afterwards, and my metabolism increases, or at least performs more efficiently. I also notice positive impact on mental focus and food discipline.

She lets it rest for a bit. Then pours it into a long stemmed glass.

I would prefer red cabbage and also rather have some bubbles to go with it (no resting) in the long stemmed glass grape juice

Ah, sorry missed that. I caught the dust one. I have an inhaler for mine. That might work for you!
