Re: Aldi - Original British Cheddar Cheese

Lidl have been stocking a half-decent ordinary cheddar for a few months now,and also, I see on their website that they have a more special one on an Action next week.

Edit: and some other cheeses too, which they've done periodically before, together with a range of British and Irish produce. https://www.lidl.ch/fr/Action-35.htm?id=491

I don't know if this is everywhere in CH, but Migros and Coop have started to do Cathedral City cheddar. People always laugh when I bring back cheddar from England when I live in the "land of cheese" but I just need it! No cheese scone is complete without it

Re: Aldi - Original British Cheddar Cheese

Yeah, they've had Cathedral City for some years here. Don't do much shopping in either of those though.

Aldi and Lidl have had British cheeses as specials before for things like their British weeks, but this seems to be a new standard product for Aldi. Having the sliced cheese for sandwiches this week and it's quite good.
