| | Has anyone tried Farmy.ch?
I've come across this site purely by chance. It ticks a lot of boxes, even though we get quite a lot from our local farm shops. The variety seems impressive, the production ethics too.
Just wondered if anyone used them before and if it fulfilled the expectations.

I order from them once a month or so, they have a nice selection of meat that's hard to get regularly - cuts like onglet, something close to brisket, and other meat. All products have been good, cost is reasonable for CH.

The skirt (onglet) is what caught my eye. I found it funny though to have organic tofu next to game meat.

The price fluctuates between chf 40 ish and chf 20ish, no idea why. But it's good. There's also a hanging tender, 200g for hf 11 - comes frozen. I thought the onglet was better.

Farmy.ch includes the Bächlihof, which is right near where I work (I eat very frequently there).
I can attest the quality.
Never used their online service, as I can just pop on the farm and buy directly from them | This user would like to thank Helm for this useful post: | |

I would recommend.
As a nice little thing they do - you can actually see who packed your goods and also can rate the delivery service.

Farmy is great - have used at least 15 times. Food is good quality, nicely packed, and shows up on time. One time there was an issue with my order as their payment system for the delivery team to collect was down. I contacted customer service and they responded quickly and professionally. Prices are sometimes cheaper even than other options for some items. I do recommend.

As it is based at the opposite end of CH, I was wondering if someone in the French-speaking part had used them and if delivery was still as efficient and swift.

Anybody else, perhaps more recently? Be interesting to see if anyone has had any good experiences and their views on price and quality. |

I‘ve never been dissatisfied, the price is what one expects from CH.
In autumn, I might get various root vegetables from them, but I prefer to buy stuff like that at the various markets (like Oerlikon on Saturday/Wednesday)

I have used them quite a lot.
Raw meat - very good selection and quality
Cured meat - good selection and quality but expensive
fruit and veg - a bigger selection than some web shop (the most only sell the standard stuff), tends to be seasonal, quite often small, not always ripe
Bread etc - not the best in my opinion
cheese - great selection and quality
Unfortunately you cannot alter the quantity.
As to delivery. You book a delivery within a time period (1.5 hours plus) and then on the day they used to send as SMS giving a time within a 30 min window. They even used to have a map on which you to follow the drivers progress.
On the whole better than Coop and much better than Migros

| | Re: Has anyone tried Farmy.ch?
We are weekly Farmy.ch customers. Quality is good, prices are consistent with Coop and Migros and delivery is free for us (I guess due to quantity we order, its part of our weekly Big Shopping)
They usually give us something for free every week, be it a Cheese, a bag of potatoes or some item. And more recently the have a App where you spin the wheel and what ever number it lands on, you get that amount off your next order.
Delivery is an ease, if 'were not home, they leave it at the door. Refigerated items come in insulated bags and sometimes "ice bags", which we give them back. Also they take the milk bottles back too.
Having a little child that is hard to control in grocery store (it takes to 2 of us to do big shopping) this has been an added convience, we fill the gaps with some trips to the small Coop in our town.
So my best recommendation for Farmy.ch. Concept is not new though, got this similar service in my home city (New York, called Fresh Direct) way back in the day, so at least our family is use to online grocery shopping.
Best
