Pepsi

Hi guys,

I am searching for a store where to buy a Pepsi in Zurich (area). Both Coop and Migros stopped selling it years ago. Recently I haven't found it neither in Lidl nor in Aldi... Haven't you seen it during your shopping anywhere?

Thanks for help!

Monika

Re: Pepsi

You sure they don't sell it in your local Migros or Coop?

It's certainly in both their online shops, and I'm pretty sure I've seen it in my local,Coop. Not been to Migros for years, so I'm not sure about there.

Coke is definitely more prominent here though.

Clean your glasses Monika47

Typically in Switzerland Coop=Coca Cola and Migros =Pepsi, so I advise you to go to a Migros near you

Re: Pepsi

Lidl had Pepsi on offer a couple of weeks ago, both the normal and the Max.

Migros does sell Pepsi too but they don't seem to have the large bottles permenently in stock in the stores anymore only the small bottles and cans.

That stopped many many years ago. However Migros do still sell Pepsi. As do Coop, Denner, Lidl and (maybe not always) Aldi

Re: Pepsi

I prefer Dr Pepper over both myself. Not as fizzy and tastes better. Can also be drunk warm as a nice winter warmer after being outside on a cold day.

Dr. Pepper isn't even in the same taste bracket as standard Cola or Pepsi, it may look the same but it's a different flavour entirely.

Exactly. That's why it's better than both of the others.

All three of them are revolting in my opinion but the others in this household disagree.
They both like Dr Pepper which to me is the worst of the lot and prefer Pepsi over Coke.

I am with you there, we always have 1 bottle of either pepsi or coca cola on stand by in case one of us has got a stomach bug....that is the only time I can and do drink the stuff as funnily enough it helps.

It's basically cherry-coke.

Re: Pepsi

Pepsi Max beats the "new" Coke Zero. The "old" one (swapped a few weeks? ago, was about equal)

Also, Coke Zero (both the old and new formula) needs to be fresh, ie the production date shouldn't be further than 2, max. 3 months, or it starts to taste less good. With Pepsi Max, I didn't noticed such behavior.

Read a book a few months ago where Dr Pepper was mentioned ..... bought it to try it ..... had I known, I would have sent the bottles to you instead of pouring them down the sink

They replaced ColaZero?! Pretty stupid move. Ah well, giving up on Coke completely won't harm my health.
