Where to find Ricoré in Switzerland?

Hello, I live in lausanne and I love Ricoré. It's a french instant coffee powder. Does anybody know where I can get this in french-Switzerland? I know france is just across the border from Geneva, but it's actually quite a journey without a car, so I'd prefer a place accessible by public transport. Thank you!

Re: Where to find Ricoré in Switzerland?

I just googled so you will have to check for yourself in the shop but it seems that it is sold under a different Name in Switzerland. That is why you could not find it. It's called INCAROM in Switzerland. Buy one and see if it does taste similarly. Enjoy!

Re: Where to find Ricoré in Switzerland?

Incarom is made with coffee and chicory extracts, along with glucose syrup. Seems pretty close to Ricoré, and both are made by Nestlé.

Another option if you want caffeine-free is Bambu. It's made with chicory, wheat, barley, figs and acorns. No coffee and no glucose syrup, but I think it tastes nice.

Two spoons of Bambu + one little coffee creamer give me the cafe latte taste I like, but without the caffeine.

Bambu has a lot of acrylamide. Coffee will be better for your health.

Re: Where to find Ricoré in Switzerland?

I would also try some of the shops run by Indians in Lausanne. They tend to have products from all over in addition to the regular ones you would find in an Indian shop.

There is one shop on the street below the train station. Exciting the station by the stairs it is on the street on the left.

There are two at the beginning of Avenue de France (just off the place Chauderon) and there are a couple on the street just above av. de France (one - go left 150m, two - go right 25m).

Thanks for the concern. I consume 1.5 grams of Bambu per day for one cup, and average one cup per day. Far less acrylamide in that than the crisps I eat on a regular basis.
