| | Sparkling water for the office
We have reached an employee critical mass (around 25 people) whereby we are getting through sparkling water in PET bottles at an ever-increasing speed. At the moment we are buying 1.5l Aquella from leshop, but I'm hoping to find something less environmentally unfriendly and not toooo much more expensive (at 50Rp per bottle it's hard to beat).
Any ideas? We can't attach to the mains water so the option of a Wasserspender is out
TIA |

You can buy/rent those machines that are connected to the water supply, one tap for non sparkling water, another for sparkling (has a construction that adds the sparkle)

This is what I really wanted to do, but we can't get the extra connection to the water supply....

If you got water in your office, you cut the pipe and put a "Y" joint in, one side goes to your spakling water machine to make sparkling water the other side is reconnedted to where it came from.
We use : http://www.bwt-aquadrink.ch
Works fine and makes sparking water, the reason i chose them is they are close to my office, no other reason.
If you don't have water in your office, change offices

Valsar will deliver glass bottles. I’m not certain of the cost though. When you consider the full impact, I’m not sure PET is really so bad. Manufacturing and container design is highly efficient. There is an infrastructure in place for recycling. And industry exists that can use recycled PET for products.
Can drink 1.5 liter a day by myself pretty easily. For 25 people, maybe you get a volume discount. If you’d like, I can send you my drivers contact info.
Soda stream may also be an option, but it gets annoying for large amounts.
I also just remembered that I have a relative involved with higher end kitchen design. Ill make an inquiry for you.

I can only speak from my limited experiences of using the Soda Stream electric at home for normally 2 people and regular house guests. The CO2 (air) container does not last very long. We maybe get 1 solid month out of it and then need to replace the can, about 18 Francs for a new one at Coop.
The professional model will most surely give you better performance. I can only suggest getting a machine that has permanent water supply line and nearly permanent or large air supply line so that it would essentially need little maintenance, only normal cleaning.

You get about 60 litres of water from a full cylinder, the time it lasts is irrelevant, it is the amount of fizzy water you can produce that is important | The following 2 users would like to thank Today only for this useful post:

I would have thought vodka would have been a better choice if she wanted to ‘cope with stress’ undetected.
Seems to have worked for our Latin teacher in school, except when she started wobbling and slurring. | The following 2 users would like to thank Sandgrounder for this useful post:

Probably vodka then and somewhere along the line I remembered it as gin. |

An additional nice thing is the different bottle sizes and flavours but given OP's priorities it's probably not worth the price.
(it's Valser, only one "a")
