Where can I order good chestnuts?

Does anyone know where I can order like 2 kg of fresh chestnuts? Those from coop and migros make me almost cry.

There is marroni-handel.ch but the minimum amount to order is 10 kg.
I am one person (and two dogs) to eat it so they will rot before I finish the quarter.

If there are other crazy chestnuts people from Zurich, and would like to split this 10 kg, we can discuss.

Re: Where can I order good chestnuts?

I guess those live in Italian part are lucky with chestnuts..
I got this from Farmy newsletter today: "For the best chestnuts travel to the Luins, follow the “sentier des châtaignes” or take a break in beautiful Ticino - there starts a trail from Maggia which is filled with chestnuts!"

Re: Where can I order good chestnuts?

Try not to make things too complicated for yourself. Stalls selling roasted chestnuts are already popping up all over the place. Ask them if they want to sell 2kg of their chestnuts to you - roasted or fresh. But have a fair price in mind before you speak with them, so you pay what you want and the seller is happy too.
