Hey, the website says it is for: "This ordering option is intended primarily for the following people: People aged 65 or older, customers with an existing health condition or persons who are currently ill, in quarantine or in self-isolation."

Are all of us in self-isolation? Is it OK to order from this if we are not 65+ or ill?

Thanks,
It is intended for people who have whatever valid reason to avoid going to the store. Feeling uncomfortable or lazy ain't valid reasons.

We don't know if you are in self-isolation if you're not a risk group and have no symptoms there is not really a reason to not do your groceries yourself, otherwise yeah sure use the system. If not just remember that you make a neighbour do the groceries for you for a tip of 5,-

Try after 24:00 hoping they add the new slots around that time.

Re: Grocery and related home delivery during COVID-19

I thought the Coop Top 100 idea was brilliant, especially as they imply that the limited range and special new facility means high availability.

Sigh. No. Several times Iíve been through the tedious process of selecting the 100 CHFs of items. Then get a "fatal error" and have to start again. Twice Iíve made it past this point and been told that about half of my choices are "not available". I have the choice of trying to order more of something else to make up the bill to 100 CHF again, or clicking "find alternative" (from the entire range). If I try the former, Iím back with "fatal error". If the latter, Iím told that "there are no delivery slots in your area".

How can they get this so wrong after making such a fanfare about it?

Re: Grocery and related home delivery during COVID-19

For anyone else who was having issues with payment methods, I've had a response from LeShop regarding the credit card 14 day delivery limit they were showing last week.

Quote:
Dear customer,

We apologize for making you wait so long before answering you. Unfortunately, in the current situation, it is not possible for us to respond personally and in a timely manner to all your requests.

Payment by credit card
With the addition of a third week of delivery, payment by credit card was unfortunately no longer possible. We had to change the procedures in place with the credit card issuers, which took longer than expected. From now on, you can once again pay for your orders by credit card, regardless of the delivery time. We regret any inconvenience this may have caused you and thank you for your understanding. This extraordinary situation presents us all with many challenges - we are doing our best to find solutions as quickly as possible.

Delivery slots
We activate new delivery windows every day. They are available for the whole of Switzerland, regardless of where you live or your language region. Unfortunately, the demand for new delivery windows remains high, and they are quickly sold out.

Your requests for credits, Cumulus points, missing products or the Migros Login will be given priority. Please be patient, it may currently take a little longer. You can also find more answers to your questions on our website on the FAQ page.

If your question remains unanswered, you can of course always contact us in an emergency. We will answer you as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding and take care of yourself!

With our best regards

LeShop.ch

Last two times I tried I was only able to get slot after 1:30. Their server is extremely overloaded at midnight.

Re: Grocery and related home delivery during COVID-19

I've managed to get an evening slot on 28 April, so will still do some shopping before then, but it's such a relief to know that the heavy stuff is being delivered, such as laundry detergent, milk, potatoes and the things I usually can only get at the larger Migros stores in the city centre. It leaves me free to concentrate on fresh fruit and veg....and vodka! Oh...and Aperol! Almost forgot cake! Haven't had cake for over a month.

I'm glad you got sorted. Be aware that not everything will be available. You'll get an email on the day of delivery to tell you what's out of stock. So far, it's only been 3 or 4 items missing for us.

Re: Grocery and related home delivery during COVID-19

Leshop seems to have got its act together.

I filled up my cart this afternoon thinking I would then have to wait until midnight to bag a delivery slot but when I tried to place the order it offered me a choice of delivery times on every day from Tuesday to Saturday next week. (14-18th April).

I was gobsmacked.

Wow! Lucky you. It must be geography-based as, despite what they say, there's a huge difference between where you are, and the Zurich area. I've only once got through to them, despite trying at all times of day and night, and the delivery slot I got was about 3 weeks from the order (and this was before the lockdown really started in earnest). I've not been able to get to a delivery slot on their website since that one order.

My best advice for others is to try Farmy.ch though the order we placed yesterday won't be delivered till the 10th May! Also, some prices have shot up, so be careful to check what you're paying in terms of cost/weight.

I started a shopping list with LeShop and within 5 minutes I could have had a slot. I kept on compiling my list because I wasn't sure if I could come up to a value of 99 SF and soon after the slot was gone.

No disrespect intended if 100 CHF represents a big outlay for you. But isn't it easy enough to add extra of what you've already ordered? If it's the "Top 100", most things are long life anyway. If it's the normal leshop, couldn't you throw in some extra washing up liquid or flour or cooking oil (etc) to make it up?

Re: Grocery and related home delivery during COVID-19

I placed an order with Leshop about a month ago. It was supposed to arrive on 23 March. On the day itself Leshop informed me that it had lost my order due to technical problems and that I would have priority when I ordered again. Their conception of "priority" was that the next delivery date would be 8 April so I am keeping my fingers crossed that the goods will indeed arrive tomorrow.

As I said I started compiling an order but not with the intention of sending it off straight away. I shall have a better idea of what I need when my order hopefully arrives tomorrow and I can see what they sent and what of my order they could not send.

it's not 100chf, it's product from the 100 products list.

Re: Grocery and related home delivery during COVID-19

I understand the idea of Coop's 100 top products, but the list of items you can order is in my opinion, bad. So many crap products.
exemple: Bell Delicacy Veal P‚tť
