I thought there was a slight R sound, Wurster.

And when talking about the sauce, the ‘shire’ is always silent.

Not in Coop? I've always found it there or at Manor Foods

I'm not aware of an 'r' sound in "wuster". Perhaps west-country dialect?

So does Migros: https://www.leshop.ch/de/search(smt:...stershiresauce
Edit: Or actually does not. Once you put it in the basket it says there are none left.

At Coop you can search for availability at the store:

And Bicester is bister, and towcester is toaster. But Alnwick is "annick" and "Bathwick Hill" is "Bath-wick Hill".

Re: where worcestershire souce gone?

I was looking in manor, coop, carrefour etc (not migros however) and couldn't find it. Nice feature from Coop website. Now I'll target exact shop. Probably some leftovers hidden somewhere

I’m from Yorkshire too and there’s no ‘r’ sound in it where I’m from and not for my husband either and he’s from north London.
