I'm in Zurich,
I forgot to order Marshmallows --- does anyone know where I can find them in Zurich.

Need them for a surprise coming up really really soon.

Aren't they for sale in Coop or Migros? That would really surprise me.

They used to stock marshmallows in COOP under a brand called Rocky Mountain; but they've removed them in Bern and they're now replaced with some European sugar cubes (Super BBQ Marshamllows) that don't even melt in the fire.

Avoid the Super BBQ ones, they don't taste or behave like marshmallows.

I have seen Rocky Mountain in Globus foods and some of the candy shops.

They sell them in the Migros and Coop here (Greifensee / Volketswil). I did just order some mini marshallows (for my son's hot chocolate) from afoodave.ch last week and they arrived in just a few days (I see that their website is down now, though, but will be back up and running at 8:00 this evening).

Another good place to try is the Lollipop candy store in the Stadelhofen train station.

Well, one of the websites is out of them, the other website is "broken" --- I called the company and they said I need to wait for 2 or 3 weeks until the website is back up and running.

I'll look again at Coop, maybe I'll go to a larger coop them my local one.

It is the bigger Coop (in Volketswil) where I've seen them before, but they also have them in the smaller Migros here in Greifensee, though those might be the "BBQ marshmallows" that someone had mentioned here earlier. If you can't find them where you go, send me a private message and if a bag of mini marshmallows will work, I can send them to you in the Post in the morning. (I haven't yet opened them). And they're not the BBQ kind.

To me marshmallows can only be the UK soft pink and white ones which I can't remember the brand of now.


Is it just me or does anyone get infuriated when people call them "marsh mellows"?

Orell Füssli St Annahof, down the side of the Coop on Bahnhoffstrasse, have an English & American food stand in their top floor English books department. I took this photo last year and know the item in the top centre of the shot is Marshmallows, but I don't know the brand. Don't think it's a UK brand though. Perhaps you recognise it?
