It will be where the Chickeria was, the majority of Chickeria franchise locations will be turned into Popeye's and Burger King franchises and unless the existing Burger King in Oerlikon is moving there, that is where it will be.

Whaaaaattttt????!!!!
This is the best news I've heard all year to be honest - thank-you!
I happen to work in Oerlikon and Popeye's is one of my first stops when I go home to the US.
Edit: To answer OP, it will literally be at the exit of the Oerlikon train station.

Any excuse for some quick exercise so I cycled to where I thought it was and it is indeed in the former Chickeria place, directly opposite Bahnhof Oerlikon, opens on the 17th of November.

Can't wait for it! There will be a few more in Switzerland in the future I think but I'm very excited about the "Chicken Sandwich".

passed by on their Eröffnung, free sandwich for the day so many people lined up...! Not good for me, so many temptations in oerlikon, burger king, Mcdonalds, subway, popeyes, pizzas, kebab... I'm already way too sedentary due to home office gonna be fat fat...
Edit:
Fresh review, just had a sandwich, impressed by the fluffy brioche buns, chicken is really juicy. I think Burger king next door is in trouble, day old buns and dry patties...

Basically, when placed close to each other they act as a magnet to clients, so they attract people to their location, where the pray is caught into a choice between [Burger King and Popeyes (like Pizza Hut, KFC and Taco Bell for PepsiCo [disguised as Yum! I used to like Chickeria...sad to see it gone locally from me. As for fast food.....once a month for me as a treat, enjoying cooking too much during these covid times. |

It's prices are quite different from BK and Popeyes though. On the other note, I don't see the point in going to a fast food chain venue in the times of a quarantine, when you can't socialize properly or safely. It's cheaper, tastier and much more fun to make a burger or a wrap at home. Or, at least, if you are willing to pay 15 CHF for sandwich, then try your locally owned business, not a franchise of some sort. | The following 2 users would like to thank evop for this useful post: | |

And I work from home so 99% I'm in my PJs sitting in front of the computer alone : - (
Just needed some guilty pleasure. When I'm too lazy to make lunch, I go grab my take away burger, go home, put my PJs back on, pour myself a glass of prosecco, and enjoy my burger, alone...
