| | WTF - Würziger brotaufstrich
So how do you use this mystery product, other than smearing on bread if you happen to like that flavour (which I'm still not sure on)
And why is it SO difficult to squeeze from the tube??

What is it?? Würziger Brotaufstrich just means spicy spread.
WTF does ring a bell but not as something to eat (sorry )

But then I'm also the person who rarely orders from the restaurant menu - preferring instead that the wait staff/chef choose for me. And I never know what haircut I'll get, because I tell the stylist to figure out whatever cut/color they think could work. Crazy risk taker that I am Or maybe I'm the ultimate in lazy.

And I for example use LeParfait when doing a "Filet im Teig" (filet in dough) and - as mentioned I disagree with the adjective würzig" - pepp it up with loads of spices.

Le Parfait is not würzig, but yes, a pain to get it out 😉
I actually like it, have to admit, tastes a bit like the leverpastei from my country

Wouldn't let the waiter chose for me but always put my finger on something I don't know. A place that doesn't have such a thing will most likely not be revisited often.
As to the hair cut, when I had short hair I would walk in and say "same as last time" and come out with something totally unexpected. The hairdresser was fascinated by my hair and luckily at that age it was not too dire to go along with his artistic outbursts.

I recently "discovered" crab paste out of a tube and right next to it caviar paste also in a tube. They looked to be delightfully disgusting so I got them and a roll of saltine crackers to use as a vector.
The crab paste almost tasted entirely unlike crab but close enough to trigger a memory of what crab tastes like, and the caviar paste contains little spheres of what may be caviar, at least giving a caviar-y "pop" when you bite them.
Crackers were quite good though.

Some restaurant staff love the trust and get enthused over what they see as a challenge, others go into a spin especially when my criteria includes "don't tell me what I'm getting, keep it a surprise until its on the table"!
As for the hair - I've had everything over the years, including a sensational electric blue rinse. Again, some stylists love the challenge, others just get confused. But I've rarely had a cut or color I hated. |

Do not put the tube in the fridge. As you have to "tenir au frais" after opening you just have to use the whole tube in one go. Problem solved | Quote: | | | | | And the WTF in my title is "what the flip" ! | | | | | Le Parfait ain't no flip. I actually like it, have to admit, tastes a bit like the leverpastei from my country | | | | | Isn't it made of pork liver or smth.? In my country we call it liver pate. Btw, this is different than foie gras, which is of course a lot more expensive. | Quote: | | | | | So how do you use this mystery product, other than smearing on bread if you happen to like that flavour (which I'm still not sure on)
And why is it SO difficult to squeeze from the tube?? | | | | | I have a simple recipe for you
- boiled eggs cut in halves
- egg yolks removed and mixed with a bit of mustard, sour cream and this spread
- egg whites filled with the resulting paste.
Bon appetit.
