I'll give it a month or two before they get sick of it, because it is is really impractical for a workplace when sometimes you just need a quick coffee in between meetings. Spending a few minutes every time making a drink, maybe longer if you do a milk-based drink, would get annoying very quickly.

They are used to the convenience of capsules and I doubt they really understand how much effort a manual machine would be. Well, they soon will.
we have been using a similar setup (manual grind, portafiller quick mill carole) for over 5 years at our office, and we never tire of it.
in fact making coffee for the team is relaxing and de-stressing. i would strongly advise people to try it out.

Re: Coffee machine with a contract

I wish there was a proper grinder and machine at my office. One of the best parts of working from home has been drinking amazing coffee all the time. I fully agree with the therapeutic aspects. For me it’s a ritual each time I make an espresso (or v60).

Most important are the beans and the grinder. The machine is little more than a hot water delivery system. The more sophisticated machines are capable of pressure or flow profiling—which may be helpful for very light roasts—but if the grinder is capable of a unimodal output then this is less important.

Get a Marzocco, they have a few professional level home machines - even with multiple group heads (up to 3). Leva, Linea and Strada models might interest you

We are however talking between 16-25k

Anibis has a used model for 12k

I’m more of an analog man myself. Currently using the Strietman CT2 at home
