When a KFC first opened near us in Volketswil a few years ago, the place was completely packed for about six months. There were even long lines that went all the way outside of the building, into the parking lot.

I find it so bizarre that so many people here love KFC so much. Where I come from (in the US), KFC is basically considered "ghetto food." But people here act like it's gourmet.

We've just had one open in Collombey as well, right on a major roundabout at the shopping area closest to the motorway junction, to attract passing trade, presumably.
