I did a little test and the third one down on that list ( the 12x300g) option will certainly ship to Switzerland. It came to 30€ plus about 12€ postage and packing.

The Waitrose crackers are the high bake water biscuits so are a little drier and crisper than cream crackers. They often sell the Waitrose stuff at 50% off in Manor if they are approaching their sell by date so it is likely they will get more in.

I'm not actually a fan of them but hubby likes them with cheese so it became a bit of a mission to find them when coop stopped selling them.

Why do you think they're different brands? They're both very clearly Jacobs Cream Crackers, it's just the pictures on the wrappings are slightly different.

Anyway, it's possible that meloncollie knows someone who could order them for her, several EF members seem to have access to german postal addresses for this kind of emergency.

They can also be ordered here and here and here .... if one insists on the brand-name.

Could you post a picture if it or at least tell us where to get them because I have not seen anything on sale here that is even remotely like cream crackers. It's not just the brand name that's important as there are brands other than Jacobs (we get one from intermarche in France) it's the type of cracker.

I've also exhausted all of my look and search possibilities (am also used to seeing them on the shelves). The only place that I know would be Globus, Zürich. Unfortunately couldn't pop-by today due to 'flu.

I'll keep my eyes open and if I see them I'll make a picture. You can then decide if it's the same thing or a good enough replacement. Like Züri Rollt I only remember seing them on the shelf, so I wouldn't know what to search for in the net.

We picked some Jacob's cream crackers up at the big Coop in Sihl City just after Christmas.

Could you also keep an eye-out for Cheesies while you at it? (Puffy, cheesie things that may be known under the name of Wotsitz). I'll make it worth your while.

I can. I did mention though that I hate shopping so I don't usually look too closely at anything else but the stuff on my list. But ahh well, I'll do it. If only to find out what you come up with to make it worth my while <giggle>.

Our local Coop in Albisrieden used to have them then stopped a year ago or so. I will have a look in Letzipark for you as my office is close by.

I usually get my fix of Jacobs Cream Crackers from the large Coop just opposite HB. They hide them on a shelf in the back right had corner near the bread.
They had some when I was there last week, so there is probably still some there now unless there has been a rush on them.

Wow, I didn't know that "division". The strangest thing is that they list loads of alcoholic beverages - and Migros is not supposed to sell alcohol, it's in their statutes

They sell alcohol through their self-imposed loophole, mainly through Denner and Migrolino. Therefore, leshop functions as an umbrella for multiple affiliates and is not limited to only Migros products.

I don't know why I didn't think of that as I think I got them from there in the past.
I don't shop in a Migros, and they don't sell have the stuff they have on LeShop in their stores anyway, but I have bought things from the LeShop site ( mostly the international food bit) when hubby has been placing a beer and wine order.

They sell Sarson's malt vinegar in the larger coop stores in their international food section.

You can do the order and pick up thing but only at certain locations, not every store offers that option.

coop in zug also sell jacobs crackers, and branston, pickled onions, stuffing etc etc
