You can get Sarson's malt vinegar from coop@home home delivery (look in the "Great Britain" section of the website)

(possibly also then from the larger coop stores?)
YES. The larger Coop stores (or even those with a UK population in the area) carry it. Look in the International section.

I have 3 bottles of imported Sarsons in my larder, but unfortunately my attempts at making fat, chip shop chips has so far failed so they remained unopened

I can recommend the Heston triple cook method for making great chips, I have done it a number of times .. they come out really great, admittedly not what you get from chip shop but in for me they are pretty damn good

I used to work in Maidenhead, and we'd often visit his gastropub (Hind's Head) in Bray so I'm very familiar with his glorious chips

Malt/brown vinegar

Anyone know where we can buy malt vinegar in Switzerland? Is there a specific German name for this?
