Re: community supported agriculture shares in lausanne?

Where you able to find a CSA near Lausanne? Does anyone know where one is near Zurich? I keep reading that Jan VanderTuin started one of the first ever CSA's-as-we-now-know them called Topinambur near Zurich, but I have not been able to locate this CSA or any others for that matter - any insight would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Can't answer for the German speaking areas but here's some links for French speaking Romandie:

For Lausanne this is a local association: http://www.lejardinpotager.ch/siteAccueil/accueil.php

For Vaud Riviera: http://www.lagrihotte.ch/

For Geneva: http://www.cocagne.ch/ & http://www.affairetournereve.ch/

For Neuchâtel: http://www.fontaine-andre.ch/ & http://www.lopinbleu.ch/

For Jura: http://www.saveurs-de-saisons.ch/ & http://www.clef-des-champs.ch/index.php?page=accueil

Also most Swiss towns hold markets on various weekdays and Saturday for sure, but they're in the morning so that's not the most convenient for most people.

Re: community supported agriculture shares in lausanne?

Does anyone know about a similar idea but to get meat, poultry, etc? I'd rather purchase directly from a local farmer than Migros/Coop.
perhaps not a cooperative but a farm that allows for direct purchasing?

However, the produce idea is very appealing to me. Thanks for the links!
