sit or stand at Kaufleuten for an event ?

I am looking at getting tickets for an evening event at Kaufleuten.

Anyone know if it's worth paying the extra for 'seating on the balcony'...in winter?

Never been there...hoping a few of the socialites her would have an opinion...

Re: sit or stand at Kaufleuten for an event ?

From what I recall, I think that last time I was at Kaufleuten for a gig, I looked up longingly at the balcony and wished that I had taken those seats.

It depends on what you like, if you don't mind being squished like a sardine downstairs then this is for you (if you are single it is a nice way to meet someone).
If you like to have room to breathe, and be able to get a drink quickly at the bar without missing ANY of the concert then upstairs is for you.

I have seen several concerts at the Kaufleuten and highly recommend to pay the extra to go upstairs.
If you do not like your sitting spot assigned to you there is standing room near the bar with an excellent view of the stage, I usually hang here with my drink and dance a bit.

The upstairs seating area is only open to people with seated tickets.

Balcony is nice. And if it is in your budget, go for it!
