Re: Post photos of what you cook and bake in Switzerland

Gata- they are real easy to make.

Mini Deep Dish Pizza
makes +/- 15 mini pizzas

store bought pizza dough in rectangle shape (I used the one from Migros)
2 pouches of grated mozzarella cheese
1 tin of tomatoes, drained and seperated (I pull out any skins)
1 TBSP pizza spices
1 garlic clove, pressed
salt & pepper to taste

Preheat the oven to 375°

Grease a muffin pan with either butter or Pam
With a large circle cookie cutter, cut out 12- 15 circles out of the pizza dough. Press into the muffin pan. Fill each muffin cup to the top with cheese (can also add other fillings of choice too).

With the drained tomatoes, take the chunks and in a mixing bowl add the press garlic, pizza spices, salt & pepper. Mix and spoon on top of the cheese. With the watery tomato sauce, spoon 1 large spoon full on top of each cup. Dust with pizza spices.

Bake for 15 minutes. Enjoy!

Recipe! Recipe!!

the recipe and a helful video can be found here
http://www.nytimes.com/2006/11/08/di...mini.html?_r=1

after this article and video appeared, every foodblogger (or random bloger like myelself) has made it, photographed it and posted about it. it's really easy, but one needs not to give up, since it looks like a complete failure until you put it in the oven!
