Re: Post photos of what you cook and bake in Switzerland

Apfelblechkuchen.

Dough
  • 170 g Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  • 65 g butter
  • 65 g sugar
  • 1 egg
  • vanilla essence
  • 4 ounces sour cream

Topping
  • 2 sliced apples
  • 1/4 cup apple sauce
  • 1/4 cup caramel syrup
  • dash of cinammon

Streussel
  • 50 g flour
  • 30 g white sugar
  • 30 g brown sugar
  • 20 g butter
  • dash of cinammon
  • dash of salt

1. preheat oven to 200C
2. mix dough ingredients together with hand mixer for 1 minute
3. mix apple toppings
4. mix streussel
5. put dough on baking pan or form
6. add apple toppings
7. add streussel
8. put in oven for 45-50 minutes [until fork inserted in middle comes out clean]

*I think I used too much applesauce/caramel and it wound up absorbing the streussel.

serves 2 [perhaps 1]

Your dinner set and table clothes do not match each other in photos. I hope you did not copy these images off the internet (like I do)

Haha Ryan! Yeah you caught me out. The pictures were taken off the internet but they were taken off my own blog so there aren't any plagiarism or copyright issues here. I do own more than just the one dinner set. That was a scarf that doubled as a table runner in the picture by the way
