Re: latin american grocery?

Cmersky and his wife were telling me about one over in Klein Basel last night... sorry, I am not familiar enough with that area to have good cognizance (and hence memory) of where they said it was.

I DO know there is a Spanish grocery near where the #1 tram stops at Brausebad. While they do have some products I was familiar with seeing in Florida and California, some of the other stuff was unfamiliar.

Perhaps you can find what you're looking for there though.

I went to La Espaņola earlier in the week and seems like most of their stuff was from Spain.

I am looking for 'Areparina' or something like that. It's the type of flour used to make Arepas.

Re: latin american grocery?

Sorry but EL MAIZ doesnt carry HARINA PAN anymore which is the mix for arepas...you can find it at KILOMETZ, this is a frozen meat place in astteten and also you can find it in most Turkish grocery shops. The best place for ethnic food in Zurich is BARKAT foods on birmerdorstr. 141 and there u can get Harinapan
