During the week tea and toast. Weekends I have a treat I invite 1 of my kids friends to sleep over and eat them in the morning
Funniest breakfast I've seen! Kids must be running out of friends, though.

Coz that's not a business, thats a hobby. Plus it doesn't really help the economics.....you still need one kitchen plus the food costs will be higher
Not if you are turning tables quickly and often. Once your place becomes popular it'll be full non-stop. I think you should do it.... Over here, on this side.

But, I know very well one shouldn't have coffee on an empty stomach.
Err, why not? That's one I've not heard before.

One I have often heard is "breakfast is the most important meal of the day", always invoking my response "What makes you think that?" to which nobody has ever been able to provide an even vaguely sensible answer. (Apart from the fact that they've heard it lots of times too.)

There is some evidence to suggest that one's metabolism may be triggered into certain modes of action depending on what you eat on an empty stomach, although it's far from conclusive, but nothing to suggest that first eating at 0700 is somehow better than waiting till 1000 or even later.

How do you boost your energy levels? is my take.

Re: Breakfast habits - pls share what you eat

I think you have the right of it.

All else apart, eating a large meal first thing actually reduces available energy, albeit temporarily, just as one feels sleepy after a heavy lunch. So I'd much rather do that an hour or two into my working day rather than first thing when I need every bit of energy I can muster.

Not convinced that the morning coffee actually helps wake me up, but I do have sugar in it, so at the very least there's a few grams of easily available energy right there.
